IIRC..."RickRolls" were about a decade and half ago, in the early YT years. Particularly making a misleading, headline-grabbing video title and thumbnail still, and it turns out to be Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" video.

' George Allen Russell (June 23, 1923 – July 27, 2009) was an American jazz pianist, composer, arranger and theorist. He is considered one of the first jazz musicians to contribute to general music theory with a theory of harmony based on jazz rather than European music, in his book Lydian Chromatic Concept of Tonal Organization (1953). "Layla and Majnun" has been called the predecessor to Romeo and Juliet, but it's a much broader allegory of human and divine love, a Sufi classic. While the man Majnun means "the mad" seeker of the lady Layla, the title "majnūn laylā" together actually means "the mad seeking night [love]".

Indeed. Not to be confused with Krishna and his "wife" Rukmini, some traditions are more devoted to Krishna-Radha. I believe Radha was a female devotee to Krishna, who became one with him. (All these deities appearing different, but coming from the same Source to begin with!)

The Majnun/Layla narrative could be the Romeo/Juliet or Krishna/Radha if they were in the books of Songs or Proverbs. There's also Solomon/Queen of Sheba [Saba, in Yemen] but those Talmud and Sufi allegories are more about wisdom than love.
