Howe wanted to keep going (touring, recording), hired replacement singers, and for years now will not let Anderson back in. It’s all over the place in Howe and Anderson interviews in the 10s. My speculation is that Howe would rather hire sidemen than split the band’s income again.

During this phase, the individual affected may be seen tearing off his or her clothing, shouting, throwing objects, and running out of doors with a noticed lack of sensitivity to the extreme cold. Hey, Steve Howe is a controlling guy. Read his recent memoir “All My Yesterdays.” He kinda took over the group with Anderson already when he first came in, honestly, in 71-73. CTTE and TFTO in 72 and 73 are primarily Anderson/Howe work. And now touring and recording Yes is a fairly good tribute band run by Howe. It is what it is.

Howe wanted to keep going (touring, recording), hired replacement singers, and for years now will not let Anderson back in. It’s all over the place in Howe and Anderson interviews in the 10s. My speculation is that Howe would rather hire sidemen than split the band’s income again.

Hey, Steve Howe is a controlling guy. Read his recent memoir “All My Yesterdays.” He kinda took over the group with Anderson already when he first came in, honestly, in 71-73. CTTE and TFTO in 72 and 73 are primarily Anderson/Howe work. And now touring and recording Yes is a fairly good tribute band run by Howe. It is what it is.
