I used to get an annual dose of Zappa on a public station in Connecticut on Memorial Day. I would be in town, having attended the Victoriaville festival the prior week, then I'd drive with a buddy to his Fairfield home. Memorial Day morning the station devoted a number of hours to a Zappa tribute.

Hey Don-O , diggin The Frank Friday as I'm up to my *bleep* in work. Like Aitch, i never thought of Zappa as a singles artist. But he did do a slew of surf/r n b/etc singles under various names in the pre-Mothers era, some of which is pretty durn cool.

(Early Zappa - that could be a show in itself?)
