You should! But it's more rewarding to stick to where you can walk to in Philly. The transit sucks and there's a lot you can see just in the various spokes of it (cc, northwest, north, northeast, south, southwest, west)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:56pm
KimSorise:

That's what we were thinking
Any good public art areas?
Avatar 7:00pm
djnogoodnick:

↳ KimSorise @6:56
Philly had a great early mural arts program so they're spread out all over the city. You could look online for some notable ones near wherever you happen to be. There used to be these neat chess pieces all over center city in the alleyways and stuff.. not sure if they're still there. Old City has the boho art galleries and they used to be free on first fridays.

Ahhh, dinner was great! Feel like a real patriot, warming up the grill.
As far as festivals go, it depends. Don't love really crowded scenes either-the Vision Festival is coming to Brooklyn, There was a Winter Jazz Fest in January in NYC, the crowds weren't THAT bad (last year's Vision Fest wasn't crowded at all. They'd probably like it to be more crowded, but it was good for me).

I do most of my record shopping on my computer these days as well, every once in a while I hit a shop (Princeton Record Exchange was the last one). I understand there are a few good record shops in Philly, from my friend who lives there.
