Yeah Amherst is an Arts College town - not too far over the border for us NewHampshuh persons.
Acid Mothers Temple has the distinction of nearly murdering me with flying bits of fractured Stratocaster as the final act of (no less than) three days of Contempo Psych @ Terrastock V. A challenging position on a bill that they notably rose to.
Keene also being a College joint is surprisingly happening - & their Spring thang with acts playing all day outdoors in a handful of locations is a groove.

Rogue Art has achieved that venerable status whereby anything released on the label is to be assumed a work of great meaning and beauty. That thing where when you encounter an unfamiliar recording with the familiar black-and-red-on-white cover as you're thumbing through a record bin (or surfing the music blogs), you automatically procure it. No scanning the lineup. No sampling a track. You just grab ahold of it. It will be wonderful.
