Well, you were more in the Subgenius than I ever dreamt to be, but one can develop a somewhat discerning taste for chaos. Then not any randomness cuts it

↳ Song: "Radio Show, At the Hotel Lincoln 1" by "Artie Shaw"
Was just looking at the history of the Lincoln Hotel in Manhattan. My late friend Ann Bernstein would have birthday gatherings at hotel bars in Manhattan. She also was part of a group of folks that were fans of lindy dancing. I miss Ann.

Sounds fun. In the 90s I heard of swing dancing group from co-worker but didn't go. My loss.

The Henry Hudson Hotel sounds interesting too. It was originally an all-women's dormitory in the 1930s. It housed Dutch soldiers in WWII. It closed in 2020, but it set to reopen as affordable housing. Fingers crossed.
