It's really kind of both Feeding Tube and Big Blood to let us be involved. The band has been around for over a decade, having formed around the dissolution of Cerberus Shoal, and they've morphed many times. This album is potentially described as gothic new wave, with a heavy dose of influence from The Cure and Bauhaus, but also a notion to melody akin to The Clean and Girls At Our Best. Big Blood is now a three-piece, with Caleb and Colleen's daughter, Quinn, being old enough to take part. She was 13 when this album was recorded and she sang on half the songs. Her voice is as dynamic and incredible as that of her mother. More than anything, my hope is that more people discover this amazing, incredible band. Take a dip through their extensive catalog and you'll find so much spectacular music of all t ypes. And if copies of the special edition run out here (as they seem to be doing quickly) you can always check the Grapefruit Record Club website and Feeding Tube's site to see if there are any copies left there. "
