Man, the 60's influence on a lot of 80's music made it a very wonderful time to be alive and in my 20's...no cares, no obligations, just a head full of dreams and ears full of music.

Re 'Younger Than Yesterday' me @ length :
Strong material (indispensable even, but then I think every BYrdS album is pretty much) - but not the most progressive sounds for 1967 (the year everything was about to explode into another level of volume, technicolor & complexity), or for a band known for advancing forms. 'CTA' & 'Mind Gardens' are adventurous - but come off almost as novelties in a way... In contrast to the previous 'Fifth Dimension' - which was sort of the opposite, being quite boldly experimental in 1966 but feeling the loss of Gene Clark's songs. So - probably on the rebound / a reaction to that for 'Younger'...
...Otoh - perhaps they are prefiguring (indeed pioneering) CountryRawk already - or hinting @ it @ least - with this configuration already. Before Psychedelia had even really set in with most people ...having been there already themselves in 1966 ...in any event, all BYrdS is good BYrdS if yer arsks moi...

No. Just Michael, she dated Brad of the Gurus. Vicki was still with Jeff McDonald at that time, Debbi relationship with her soundman Brian (whom she married) was heating up and Susanna was a "free agent" for a few months (having just broken up with Lewis Guterriez of the Three O'Clock), although she did briefly date Emilio Esteves and Hart Bochner at this time.
