You did a cover of a Hindi song "Jaan Pehchaan Ho" a year ago I think. As a person who speaks Hindi, I approve of your cover. It's a tough song to sing!

Here is an English translation of the song. It's quite a accurate, except I would say that "Jaan Pehchaan Ho" means in the context of the song "Let's get to know each other". Here's the link to the translation: lyricstranslate.com...

That being said, I DO like your interpretation though. There should be an Indian song that addresses arranged marriages haha.
Debbie Davenport:
I want this song so much. I can never find it.

But we don't travel, so I don't feel like i'd use it. Might put it off.

It stayed dormant for awhile, but then the song and video popped up in the 2001 movie Ghost World, based on the comic. That exposed it to many more people. The beer commercial was a while after that.
Mr. Oxford:
It sounds a thriller which shamelessly ripped off an Agatha Christie story. Stories were plagiarized a lot in old Indian movies haha.

That is very interesting. Great DJs like you have so much valuable knowledge to share!
The beer commercial I remember seeing in Canada in 2011 I think. That's when I came to know the song is popular at least in North America.

Also, at least in old Indian movies, people who were wearing band shirts (like the Doors for examples) are usually the bad guys/antagonists in the movie. I have this theory that filmmakers went out of their way to show that people who wore bad shirts were up to no good to discourage the youth from doing the same. In modern movies though, people wear all sorts of stuff.

Nowadays you can find most Indian movies in its entirety on YouTube, a lot of times with subtitles.

What is it with glam and cats?

Another band I could think of is a band called Pelle Miljoona Oy which is a Finnish punk rock band from the late 1970s/early 1980s. Their very early stuff was a bit glam. They had a song called "Tahdon Rakastella Sinua" which sounds like it could be played on a show like this one.
