Thought this might be the Haxan Cloak for a sec

Terrifier! great movie, great score!!!

The Chucky TV show had some good musical moments, including The Slits' cover of "Heard It Through The Grapevine"

Neat-o vaguely TubularBellsish track.

Did Dark Glasses make the cut? I saw a pretty neat vinyl release of it (from Mondo, I think(. It's a fun movie twitter.com...

I imagine being Marilyn Manson's guitarist that long makes one get the phrase "I don't know where he is and what he does all the time, OK" ready to go at all times

There's no way the "Wednesday" series could be as good as the "Adult Wednesday Addams" shorts available—in-between take-downs—via YouTube.

Singing my song there. I always want to like Burton's stuff more than I do.

Seems people universally exalt Wednesday & decry the RobZombie project.

Pretty silly movie, but the bus sequence is memorably grisly.
Glistener MW:

Gawd I love those Band Bros.!

Thank you for not playing the Kate Bush song, I heard it enough for the next five years just from watching the season.
Glistener MW:

Rev, I was shocked and dumbfounded at how much I enjoyed Rob Zombies’ The Munsters. It was colorful, zany, and wore its PG-ness on its sleeve in a way that reminded me of so many 1990s adaptations of 60s popculture. It might not have a foothold in today’s zeitgeist, but my headcanon voted it “best adaptation of 1996”.

There's a The Guest II? I don't see it on IMDb, or is this more music related to the first one?

Do you think I might like it, given that I could never stand more than a minute or so of the original series? I mean, I like the theme music, it's the first klezmer I ever heard….

Well, Melissa Hunter is brilliant.

It is Burton's, he directs every ep, I believe. It's fine, I guess. It kind of puts her in a boarding school and teen nonsense...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:36pm

I love David Cronenberg.

I prefer his cronenberg scores too

Mixed feelings about Shore's Tolkien film material. Some magnificent some off point. Maybe as befits the films. Like they're news by '23...

The is a short by Melissa Hunter on You Tube you should look up called Dead Puppies, it's really funny.

You remember after Ring, there were all those movies jumping the bandwagon that made up the bulk of what got earmarked 'j-horror'? And then The Ring was made, and all those other movies got US remakes? Smile is like one of the more middling examples of that.

The ending of X was so unsettling.

I’m gonna check out the dead puppies:)

Why did you find the ending of x unsettling? I thought it to be pretty ironed out.

Hi maccaroni islanders!
Androu B.:

Ahoy, Devon & Island Natives!

Enjoying the show so far. Hope to get a chance to see the Wednesday Addams series, if it's worth the $4.99 or so charge for it.
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 8:48pm

I'd really like to see Goth win the Spirit, but a lot of those people voting will see Pearl alone, because that's the screener they'll be sent, and even though that's the better movie, they'll miss the full context. Blanchett will probably take it for Tar

A movie I really enjoyed this year that seems to have gotten lost is Dual. Black comedy pretty clearly inspired by Yorgos Lanthimos, great lead performance by Karen Gillan
