I liked the arc that Gough and Millar introduced to "Smallville" with a Bill Gaines and a Frederick Waldham, author of "Deciphering the Mysteries of the Ancients" (say it fast with a mouthful of something), declaiming Clark Kent as a threat to humanity. You had to know some things to get it, like a lot of Gough & Millar humor.

If you're talking about the book by John Einarson, yes. I went to the reading/signing at Book Soup in West Hollywood. Jac Holzman, the president of Elektra was there. I handed him my copy of Elektra Masters by Love. He turned it this way and that and asked me "Where did you get this thing!?" He had never seen it before! It came out on Elektra UK. after he gave LOVE the boot from the label.
