Total formative years but had to go back to 82 from cassettes my older brother made me to open my ears...and then in junior/senior year in high school starting to do radio at my local college station around 1985/86 - WMUH, Allentown! Everything started around 1984/85 for me...
	12:24pm Tony Coulter: What I came to realize preparing for this show was that '82 was not only a great year for post-punk and such, but also for Rock in Opposition–type sounds. For one thing, the double-LP Recommended Records Sampler came out that year. That pointed me in all sorts of new directions.

I loved it but I sold my copy years ago b/c you can't keep everything (and I was moving a lot). Now I see only one copy available on ebay for over $600! Should have kept it I guess. www.amazon.com...
