The Waring Pennsylvanians Ole Moses is a bit cringy to me. Triggering me to more closely review his career and the people credited for writing and recording that tune.
  Swag For Life Member 10:27am
WR:

It is just a small blip in Waring's career but the threads of culture and entertainment I think are involved are intriguing to me.

Regarding your feature performer, Harry Parry. Interesting that is really his birth name and that his once time featured singer and wife Jeannie Bradford has a much more fully detailed Wikipedia page. I didn't notice if we heard her on any of selections you played before Honeysuckle Rose.

Franco, I'm guessing you meant that comment for another stream.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:55am
Jan Turkenburg:

Hi Franco! yes, I'm puzzled :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:00am
Franco Twinkie:

I did! I'm so sorry. I just got out of bed. Chresti was playing a cover of a Fleetwood Mac song in the kitchen. It startled me because I haven't heard the original since the 70's.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:01am
Jan Turkenburg:

LOL!

No worries, Franco, I has happened to most all of us stream hoppers.

The Parry recordings you've played have been solid swing combo on the tails of Goodman and Shaw. Still wondering if you will be including (or did I miss) a recording with Bradford singing. Not found any mention of her in the discogs listing for his recordings.

Though that linked document has a detailed discography, I can't find the song you played listed. There are many variations of spelling when rendering other languages into English or text using Latin letters but couldn't find one that seemed similar. Thanks as always for putting this program together week after week.
