But let's credit the Hippies with positing a culture in which having one's mind blown was not just positive but fundamental ...without even - & here's something truly of a remote era - judgements about it. & that is comforting. & just the idea of a Culture implies Continuity - & Community. Which perhaps everything else aims to disrupt. This Program has some of that about it...
