Nice to hear you Dave! First time listening to this prog show. I saw ELP live in 1978 around the same time I was getting into punk, and it was that ELP concert that made me turn my back on prog completely until I got back into it around 10 years ago.

I saw Renaissance first US show and a year later while in Houston, saw a small club where they were playing later that night. Went in to get a ticket, sold out, but they were doing a sound check. The ticket woman let me sit and watch/listen. I was in love with Annie Haslem. She came over to me after check and I told her I saw her first US show and consequently others. She asked me if I were coming to the show that night. I told her they were sold out. She left me a ticket. I'll never forget and I loved them and especially her!!!!

There's something unsettling about a prog show that lasts only one hour. I remember listening to Long Beach, CA, radio station KLON(?), a prog show in the mid-'70s. In fact, I visited the station, and if I'm remembering things correctly, a buddy swiped a Lucifer's Friend single from their shelves.

Thanks Dave and WFMU for doing a prog show! As someone who saw not only Emerson, Lake and Palmer but Emerson, Lake and Powell and 3 (Emerson, Robert Berry and Palmer) this is a show that's right in my wheelhouse.
