	7:09pm cometothesunshine: Mr. Movin Man - that was primarily Bob Hyde's research, but I also went through the relevant copyright books to flesh out the information
	7:12pm Mr. Movin' Man: "Together Again" is such a dirty, grungy record. I love that sound.
	7:13pm cometothesunshine: At times it seems like the Belmonts are incidental participants in Dion's new direction.
	7:16pm Mr. Movin' Man: I'd love to pick Dion's brain about the making of this album.

	7:27pm Mr. Movin' Man: I was surprised "Spoonful" wasn't on "Kickin Child". Not that it needed more tracks, but it such a powerful recording.
	7:28pm cometothesunshine: Mr. Movin Man - I believe that the Kickin Child CD/LP closely followed an assembled stereo master for an unissued LP from 65/66. I actually saw the tape, but don't remember the exact sequence.
	7:30pm cometothesunshine: Some of those mixes had surfaced on Bronx Blues and Road I'm On, but Wonder Where I'm Bound was mostly newly mixed in 1968
	7:30pm Mr. Movin' Man: I got into Dion in my teens (which was mainly the early 90s). I knew Abe, Martin, John from the radio. But them I spotted the Dion '68 album in the CD rack with that black and white cover. I blind bought it and I was hooked! Not long after that "the ROAD I'm On" comp came out. Pure gold!

	7:39pm Natalie: The association with faith (or lack thereof)/drugs in relation to rock and blues is an interesting one to me. But I suppose that's a discussion for a particular time and place....
	7:40pm cometothesunshine: I guess Columbia tried to push him into an adult pop area in 1963 and he rebelled by making these recordings.
	7:41pm cometothesunshine: They Kenny Rankin version of this song from a year earlier is pretty interesting too.

	7:43pm cometothesunshine: There is so much emotion and aching in his voice from this era
	7:44pm cometothesunshine: Al Kooper plays the organ on most of these 1965 tracks.
	7:45pm cometothesunshine: This is my favorite recording of this Bob Dylan song. Dion was a great arranger.
	7:47pm Mr. Movin' Man: Any word if "Together Again" will ever get a response re-release? Is the Complete Columbia box still a thing?

	7:48pm cometothesunshine: I think the Columbia box is a dead issue and Together Again tape burned in massive UMG fire. I do have the commercial reel to reel if they need it!

	7:49pm cometothesunshine: Natalie - this is from an acetate and remains officially unissued - So Goes Love has only been bootlegged.

	8:37pm cometothesunshine: Yeah, Dion was obviously reusing his unissued songs to create new ones in this period.
	8:38pm cometothesunshine: So little of what he did was released or heard, so why not. Most of his process was invisible from 1965-1968

	8:46pm sw2442: Andrew...I've really enjoyed today's revisit...I believe the released Columbia singles after 1964 should have been more successful. I really think the Top 40 radio programmers only saw Dion as the guy who sang Doo-Wop and Runaround Sue and The Wanderer only. He did have a handful of hits on Columbia, but I also think Columbia didn't like his blues and folk recordings.

	7:28pm cometothesunshine: Mr. Movin Man - I believe that the Kickin Child CD/LP closely followed an assembled stereo master for an unissued LP from 65/66. I actually saw the tape, but don't remember the exact sequence.
	7:30pm cometothesunshine: Some of those mixes had surfaced on Bronx Blues and Road I'm On, but Wonder Where I'm Bound was mostly newly mixed in 1968
	7:30pm Mr. Movin' Man: I got into Dion in my teens (which was mainly the early 90s). I knew Abe, Martin, John from the radio. But them I spotted the Dion '68 album in the CD rack with that black and white cover. I blind bought it and I was hooked! Not long after that "the ROAD I'm On" comp came out. Pure gold!

	8:46pm sw2442: Andrew...I've really enjoyed today's revisit...I believe the released Columbia singles after 1964 should have been more successful. I really think the Top 40 radio programmers only saw Dion as the guy who sang Doo-Wop and Runaround Sue and The Wanderer only. He did have a handful of hits on Columbia, but I also think Columbia didn't like his blues and folk recordings.
