	🥁 10:06am bobdc: A lot of it, like so much of jazz theory, was about which scales you can play over which chords, especially dominant chords that get more notes piled on top of the 7th.
	10:08am MHLee: I had a scholarship to play jazz... used to study bluegrass in high school... despite that I was never a very capable musician. Much more comfortable as a DJ.
	10:10am Doug Schulkind: @MHLee Have not read that. I am reading now that Starker was a fellow professor of Baker's at the Univ. of Indiana. Not sure where I formed the impression that Starker was a student of Baker's.

	10:22am adamdoesit: Doug and Jeff G, that's what's been happening in my neighborhood, my work community and in, well, me, too. Rinsing out the old snoot with a neti pot and drying it out with sudafed for a few tweaky days helped me with the awful sore throat. And I mean it about the chicken soup.

	10:29am still b/p: Someone wrote a cautionary letter in the paper about circumstances and sense: One traveler in a family group tests positive,and isolates but others test negative, and continue with their vacation interactions, public exposures and close encounters....and then all test posltive soon after. The earliest test when you've been near someone who's got it ain't the test you want to rely on or the one to justify normal la-la-la proximities and exposures.

	11:22am Dean: Two phones, with the resulting GIF likely captured by a third. Frog at bottom left is viewing self in a phone off-screen but reflected in the on-screen phone. It does appear that the frog in the second- (or third-) order phone is not exactly in time with the other images of frog, but could that be due to some kind of latency. But I don't see any evidence of a reflection in a mirror. It's phones, all the way down.

It does appear that the frog in the second- (or third-) order phone is not exactly in time with the other images of frog, but could that be due to some kind of latency. But I don't see any evidence of a reflection in a mirror. It's phones, all the way down.
