Yeah, time is different in NJ. It takes me two hours to get home from Brooklyn after midnight (10 miles), but an hour to get home from Asbury Park (60 miles). I discovered that when I went to see the Damned. The tickets for Asbury Park were cheaper than for NYC, too.

Re: The Cuppa T song. One of the familiar aspects of it is the guitar riff is exactly what Frank Zappa derided as ubiquitous in his book: In L.A., it was folk-rock to death. Everything had that fucking D chord down at the bottom of the neck where you wiggle your finger around -- like "Needles and Pins."

Yeah, hadn't seen it ages. Obsession is De Palma. Terrors is an all-star dopey, but endearing, comedy from '63; Vincent Price, Peter Lorre, Basil Rathbone, Boris Karloff, Joyce Jameson, and Joe E. Brown.
