Bolan biopic would be wonder. Unfortunately, it would be ruined by the actor they would choose. It would be great if Devendra Banhart had some acting chops. That could work.
Avatar 11:12pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

UK album cover he didn't care for. :D
...I love the U.S. cover art - but Jimi himself favored the Linda Eastman photo of the Experience with children in Central Park. Which I think they're using now.

30 years ago the ex wanted Depp to play him. it would be hard to cast for sure
Avatar 11:12pm

They could start with a documentary...
Avatar 11:13pm

hmm the only other version I can find is the jimi closeup and even there the back cover is better IMHO
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:14pm
MHLee:

Found it! garagehangover.com...

"Goffin and King moved their distribution deal for Tomorrow to Cameo-Parkway, and their first release on a redesigned Tomorrow label was by the Bach’s Lunch, a girl group (with singer Darlene McCrea of the Cookies and the Raelettes – I don’t know the other members), with the Myddle Class providing the instrumental backing"

Why not cast Tilda Swinton? She would have two projects: Bolan and Bowie. She would be perfect for a Bowie biopic!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:24pm
Mxter Baba:

RevRab, it's fascinating to learn about how the sonngs came together—it's really their first two albums I was obsessed with in my youth
Avatar 11:25pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Yeah ! ...have Todd Haynes do an impressionistic surreal Bolan like he did for Dylan in 'I'm Not There'. He loves Glam !...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:26pm
Mxter Baba:

aw, Jimi! gone too soon.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:28pm

The Dervishes are Sufi for example. You know Islam ranges from them to sects that prohibit Music altogether. In a way Christianity is no different. But my understanding is 'Islam' means Surrender. That could be Mystical relinquishing of Ego - but for many it means a lifestyle of strict Rules.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:48pm
MHLee:

Indeed, Muslim means one who submits... it's one of those faiths that doesn't explicitly require you to join for salvation but if you do these are the rules you should follow
