I saw David Amram live on a few little stages at the Winnipeg Folk Festival, in the late '70s. He seemed to mostly want to play his music from the Robert Frank film 'Pull My Daisy', as a way of talking about the Beats, and that atmosphere.....then I read his autobiography...pretty colorful character
