Remember first I ever heard of Madonna was late night TV video for 'Lucky Star' ...like - who is this hotty ?? ...I like some of her style & attitudes but she has a lot to answer for with titanic overexposure of 'Material Girl' & more. Oof. Good riddance to that.
Apparently some obfuscation over Madge's Birth Data :
www.astro.com...
- but seems like 1958 for sure...
Interesting to compare her to KateBush just s few weeks earlier. The ⦿Sun had moved off from brilliant eccentric ♅Uranus - tho they are both very very ♌︎Leo. For instance...

James, if you can find it, watch the first Community AD&D episode (s2,e14). A perfect evocation of the *feeling* of the hobby. The reaction to the line I just quoted is pretty much everything you can feel about a DM distilled into an instant!

@RevRab & anyone else interested

AfaIk, a good number of public and college stations throughout the US (perhaps some NPR affiliates among them) carried Rock Over London over the years. Just did a lookup on Archive.org and found two transcripts from KFJC and KALX that seem to mention the program by name, although they could instead be mentions of another program by a similar name, as both are followed by the words "Rock On Chicago". so I can't be sure if both stations did carry the program. I might take some time to go through all the programs I've recorded and list the radio stations that have joined those who broadcast the program since it's inception.
