I was pitching for a political candidate near a polling place for a few hours, and a middle-aged couple yelled at me for being "divisive" and said we needed "unity". I was like, what candidate are you for? And they were "that's the problem! No candidate! You're dividing us!!" ...WTF??? And then I realized... HIPPIES.

The guy who yelled at me about abortion being murder was easy to write off, and the Russian guy who said we all just wanted free stuff and said that fascism would be better than communism was also easy to write off (though chilling), but that couple of "unity" weirdos will puzzle me forever, probably.

I was like, what candidate are you for? And they were "that's the problem! No candidate! You're dividing us!!" ...WTF??? And then I realized... HIPPIES.
