Why the (?) RevRab? It's the old name for the Seventh Avenue subway in NYC. There were three different subway companies, IRT, BMT, and IND. They merged in 1940 but even in the 70s growing up I still heard people use those names.

@Passaic , Lixiviated. Here in Maryland August is the month with the greatest precipitation yet also the month were the average water level of the Potomac River is at its lowest. Absorption and transpiration (trees) and evaporation (heat), I believe, account for this.

@Passaic River Blues
I lived in the Riverside section of Silk City and when the river was low we used to see, what my old man called the “Indian Bridge”.
I think it was actually the relic of a fish weir from back in the days when the river was clean. Before the dye factories and machine shops dumped their waste into the river.

REM 1981. It's not TheBeatles in the Cavern but the comparison comes to mind.

What I like is that they clearly had their shit together pretty early on. Songs from that time would still be popping up on their 4th album.

At the Ritz in 1980/81 they would show music videos on the screen before bands played and R.E.M.'s Wolves, Lower was on heavy rotation.

Remember first actually seeing them on some kids' show ...asked pretty good questions tho! Asked about the indistinct vocals - or maybe general influences - Stipe said it's humid in Georgia like swimming in air. & they sounded like that... Up in NewHampshuh's Appalachians in a smalltown - this had magical resonances...

@Joe McG: in case you were wondering why the McHachiko is because i watched the movie 'Hachi A dogs tail' late last night. And in the movie they also referred to dog as Hachiko, and well it seemed to blend with your name so I just did it on a whim i guess.
