Keith had so much equipment on stage in those pre-digital keyboard days, I thought the house electricity might just blow out altogether. For $6.50 and sitting in the 16th row center, I think I got my money's worth. And, yes, Mr. Emerson pulled his Hammond B-3 down on top of him and stabbed the keys with knives. A showman par excellence!

For decades, the creek was pretty much the main location for animal rendering in the city: working horses, stray dogs, circus elephants: they all came to Newtown Creek. Keith had so much equipment on stage in those pre-digital keyboard days, I thought the house electricity might just blow out altogether. For $6.50 and sitting in the 16th row center, I think I got my money's worth. And, yes, Mr. Emerson pulled his Hammond B-3 down on top of him and stabbed the keys with knives.
