Carefully tapping the vacuum tubes with the rubber handle of a screwdriver. This knocks loose the carbon that can form between the tube electrodes getting them to fire up & work again.

Many of you have been on the journey with me since his stroke at the end of 2019. He went out on his own terms, peacefully and surrounded by family. I'd like to thank so many of you for being there through some or all of the near three year stretch. You know who you are. I couldn't have done it without my WFMU family! Carefully tapping the vacuum tubes with the rubber handle of a screwdriver. This knocks loose the carbon that can form between the tube electrodes getting them to fire up & work again.

Many of you have been on the journey with me since his stroke at the end of 2019. He went out on his own terms, peacefully and surrounded by family.
