This is where all of culture and all of time are collapsed into one seductive portal and viewed through the panoramic lens of the exotic. Come and embark on an armchair-travel virtual-voyage to the heart of timeless darkness and beyond; embrace the numinous monolith of the exotic immensity. Let us find that place where hybridization meets its destiny as pure fantasy. Let us become observers observing those others who are ourselves. You wear your mask and I'll wear mine.

Franco Twinkie:

The Yusesf Lateef album pictured is in front of the Legion of Honor in San Francisco. I have a picture of myself sitting on the base assuming the pose of The Thinker that my father took in 1966. It's hard not to goof on anything as pompous, not matter how old you are.
Avatar 7:23pm
Flash Strap:

i wondered where that was! The Quintet was quintessentially Detroit but I didn't think it was taken there
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:25pm
Franco Twinkie:

Unless there were multiple thinkers. It's a great lawn decoration.

Rodan has big connections with Kentucky, which is my home state. Which is also cool bc it’s very random that Kentucky would have such a strong thing with that

Paul Anka. I think he was missing a cool gene.

I love the piano playing at the end of monkey business. Super cool
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:09pm
Franco Twinkie:

Correction: Look In Any Window is the name of the movie where Paul Anka plays a peeping tom. His declaration at the end of the movie was "It wasn't me, it was a man in a mask" The mask in question was Plastic Man. In one creepy scene, he's on the roof of a tract house wearing said mask while trying to see his neighbor without her pants on. This epic piece of black and white trash was on regular rotation on late night TV in the early '70's in L.A.
