One of the last times I saw them was at the Court Tavern where they were recording their show for a possible live LP. Tom had a cold that night and I'm guessing that's why the live show never got released but they sounded fine and played practically everything they in their repertoire that night!

One of my favorites that I would go to see every chance I got and got plenty of airplay on a certain nightly radio program on WRSU (Rutgers Univ.) was Destroy All Bands. The lead singer was such a total f-up. I remember some nights he dressed up as a Droog (he was probably a big fan of "A Clockwork Orange"). He was also a shameless, hedonistic alkie. I could only imagine the guy must've had mighty low self-esteem to let himself go the way he did. Don't know what happened to him. But a lot of folks close to him, I can only surmise, must've worried and feared he'd join the "27 Club".

One of the last times I saw them was at the Court Tavern where they were recording their show for a possible live LP. Tom had a cold that night and I'm guessing that's why the live show never got released but they sounded fine and played practically everything they in their repertoire that night!

One of my favorites that I would go to see every chance I got and got plenty of airplay on a certain nightly radio program on WRSU (Rutgers Univ.) was Destroy All Bands. The lead singer was such a total f-up. I remember some nights he dressed up as a Droog (he was probably a big fan of "A Clockwork Orange"). He was also a shameless, hedonistic alkie. I could only imagine the guy must've had mighty low self-esteem to let himself go the way he did. Don't know what happened to him. But a lot of folks close to him, I can only surmise, must've worried and feared he'd join the "27 Club".
