For that you can thank DJ Freddie Snakeskin, who had been at the same pirate station in Arizona from whence came Don Bolles. Must have baffled the Valley girls. Bet I was the only Aphrodite's Child convert he created.

Jodowrowski's Dune and Star Wars were in production around the same time but there's no overlap with people, artists, etc. And I wonder if Lucas was familiar with Metal Hurlant, etc. Never heard it mentioned but the aesthetic of those comics are very distinct and similar. #godi'msuchadork

	9:29pm Rich in Washington: I remember reading an article from a movie trade magazine from when Star Wars was in production and it was causing a buzz in the industry, partly because it was verging on being a troubled production and very high budget and Lucas kept referring to it as a children's film, almost dismissively. I think the article was making the rounds when the prequels were coming out.

Software was terrified of piracy while hardware wanted user-friendly tech. Then they got the tax on DAT, so they ended up levying and paying themselves a tax.

	10:55pm drowsy: Sweet! Yeah they usually play a small joint here, and I am humbled they come by. They played a proper hall with Ministry and CoC in March but I missed em! They had Red Kross opening last time, with Dale and Steven playing for both, it was good.
