Headlining the bill that night was Van Dyke Parks, a big promoter of Trinidadian steel drum music. At the time he was premiering his latest project called "Jump," songs based on the Uncle Remus/Bre'r Rabbit stories by Joel Chandler Harris. He brought along Kathy Dalton to handle the vocals.

Headlining the bill that night was Van Dyke Parks, a big promoter of Trinidadian steel drum music. At the time he was premiering his latest project called "Jump," songs based on the Uncle Remus/Bre'r Rabbit stories by Joel Chandler Harris. He brought along Kathy Dalton to handle the vocals.
