@krull: yeh, I specifically recall an exhibit of several deformed little ones in jars. Best thing ever for an 11 year old. It was a cathedral of bliss. The new building has a couple of 'em but not the full collection I remember. The stomach-shaped hairball is absolutely still there.

They were talking about scammers on pseu show and I didn't get a chance to ask her if this particular scammer walked right up to her stuck his hand right out for her to shake, and if he didn't he just held it there until she did. I don't know about her or anyone else but i hate it when people do that to me, it immediately sends up a red flag that says they can't be trusted.

I still say "guys" as in "you guys" when addressing a group of people irrespective of its makeup. That said I do use "folks" when talking in the third person about a group of people, also irrespective of makeup. Would feel weird calling people "folks" to their face.

Ostende is a strange place. Seaside, but with all the north facing beach front buildings, it's always heavily shrouded in shadow. Gives it a very strange ambience. I went running on the beach where Marvin Gaye used to jog during his strange Belgian odyssey.

There was this episode of freaks and geeks where Ken got this new girlfriend who was born a hermaphrodite but had it removed immediately after birth, she told Ken this in confidentiality.
