He said with all the dust and cobwebs around the floor molding, they would never come in and so it has been so...

Before I moved back to NYC from grad school in MI, I wanted K8 and some friends there to come see my mom's family's old farm in the far west of the state. It's April, so my aunt and I go up to reconnect the pipes and light a fire in the stove to warm the place up. And we woke up a ladybug colony hidden the walls for hours and hours, thousand upon thousand of ladybugs came pouring out of all the cracks in the walls of this tarpaper shack, basically. I think a million ladybugs might have been there, sleeping away until the fire woke them up and the poured out. It was the cutest biblical curse you ever saw. Morning, Will!
