One reason I loved Farscape (1999-2004) is because it satirized that to some degree. Humankind was just another species, nothing special, definitely no special abilities or skills. The human main character was often hilariously mocked by all the other characters for having crappy eyesight, bad hearing, etc. not to mention questionable sanity.

One reason I loved Farscape (1999-2004) is because it satirized that to some degree. Humankind was just another species, nothing special, definitely no special abilities or skills. The human main character was often hilariously mocked by all the other characters for having crappy eyesight, bad hearing, etc. not to mention questionable sanity.
