	8:38am Brainiac from Neuron 3: King Curtis, the blues and soul musician, bandleader and composer, died early yesterday morning of stab wounds received during a fight with a man on the stoop of a brown stone he owned at 50 West 86th Street. Charged with killing the 36‐ year‐old saxophonist, whose band had backed Aretha Frank lin and had been heard at such places as the Fillmore West, was Juan Montanez, 26 years old, of 100 West 92d Street. The police said the fight began shortly before midnight, when the musician, who lived at 150 West 96th Street, saw Mr. Montanez sitting on the stoop of the building. Following a heated exchange there was a brief fistfight be tween Mr. Montanez and the musician, the police said.

First LP played on it : AJA. The decay on the the first cymbal crash on Black Cow went on forever. All I have left are The AVID 103's.

The police said the fight began shortly before midnight, when the musician, who lived at 150 West 96th Street, saw Mr. Montanez sitting on the stoop of the building. First LP played on it : AJA. The decay on the the first cymbal crash on Black Cow went on forever. All I have left are The AVID 103's.

I didn't get to spec the equipment (salesman's job) but I had to set it all up. I used Crowded Houses "Woodface" for the indoor job & RHCP Blood Sugar Sex Magic for the ball fields.
