@Handy That's a whole other can of worms. Illicit cannabis is better quality (and cheaper) than what you get at a dispensary, but the concentrates have been iffy. Irresponsible people have been cutting corners by using the wrong carrier oils in vape cartridges. Knock-off brands also falsify lab reports. Pretty much the wild west. Fuzzy gives good advice.

I'm reading 1414 Degrees by Paul Stanley Carr who was on Techtonic a few weeks ago. It's really good. Carr really nails the lack of moral backbone of the big tech leaders that comes up on this show.I highly recommend it. It's a well-written, in the style of a political thriller with elements of A Promising Young Woman and has many laugh out loud moments.

@Robert The introduction of solventless extraction methods has recently been making a big splash. This is as opposed to solvent-free, which like other drugs, uses solvents you then have to remove. This leaves trace amounts of potentially harmful chemicals.

I'm sure, Hyperdose. In the making of the pills most of us take, there are synthesis and purification steps that add toxic solvents that then must be removed. But it's very rare for that to lead to a problem; last I know of was with elixir sulfonamide in ethylene glycol, long time ago, and in that case the solvent was left IN.
