Hi everybody! Yes, at this moment the stream is silent. However it's 99% certain that there will be sound when this show starts.

Its that robot DJ falling down on the job? Bring on the human DJs!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:53am
Jan Turkenburg:

Yes, it seems he wants a raise....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:02am
Jan Turkenburg:

and we're off!

Morning Jan, Dom, over/unders! Robots were sleeping, there was dead air about 10 min ago,
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:04am
MHLee:

Hi all
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:04am
Jan Turkenburg:

Hi Domenic!
Hi chresti! yes, so I noticed when doing the pre-flicht check. The proper authorities have been notified :-)

Plenty of internet stations. If that robot is not happy tell it to move on. ;')

Oh, the file name says they're dancing with SOLDIERS. I thought they were painters or plasterers.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:14am
Jan Turkenburg:

:-) Hi Robert!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:15am
MHLee:

The Les Paul version of this song is such a classic, I immediately think of it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:15am
Jan Turkenburg:

but what an orchestra this is, don't you agree?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:18am
MHLee:

Yeah they seem to be all over it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:20am
Feldy:

Hi Jan! Some spirited yodeling!
  10:21am
Listener Robert:

I can only gather that Anuschka is a brand of vodka.
  Swag For Life Member 10:21am
WR:

Of course a Tyrolean waltz has yodeling!

Hi Jan and all.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:22am
Jan Turkenburg:

Hi Feldy!
Hi WR!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:24am
Jan Turkenburg:

@Robert. The singer calls Anuschka cruel and heartless to not five him some more vodka. The bottle isn't empty yet. If she don't he'll go to Igor, he'll give him plenty.
  Swag For Life Member 10:27am
WR:

Seeing the comments about the stream being silent before Jan started. Did any notice if the player listed a song even though the stream was silent. I encountered that one evening on Sheena's but by the time Mr Fab was reaching out to some techies the problem ended.
  10:27am
Listener Robert:

Thanks, Jan. I considered Anuschka as the person being addressed in the title, but since there was no comma....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:28am
Jan Turkenburg:

:-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:30am
Jan Turkenburg:

There was no comma on the label. One has to be strict about these things ;-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:31am

I don't know if this is a comp of the first time Geraldo recorded that song www.discogs.com...

We are definitely in the phase where most people have given up; either throwing the safety rules out the window, or accepted that their life is pretty isolated going forward
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:59am

I'm so sorry you had to go through that Jan. And I'm sorry the pandemic is getting worse there again.

Jan Turkenburg:

Hey Rich!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:24am
Jan Turkenburg:

@chresti in short I described that 11/11 is the trad trick or treat-evening in this region, but that three years in a row my late wife Willeke was fighting for her life one way or another on that very date.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:28am
Rich in Washington:

that track was delightful
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:32am
chresti:

Ah, yes I remember you mentioned her passing last year. Hopefully each year will be less painful for you, Jan. Nov. 11 is also the date I moved in with Franco. The painful part was breaking from my husband that day.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:32am
Jan Turkenburg:

thanks for sharing that, chresti.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:38am
Feldy:

How long did you know your lovely wife, Jan?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:41am
Jan Turkenburg:

We new each other for 30 years, we we're a couple for 26,5 years and married for over 25,5 years when she died, christmas day 2016
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:44am
fred:

I think there will be a ceremony honoring Josephine Baker at the end of the month. I might go if the time falls right. A Black woman honored at the Pantheon in Paris is weird enough, but adoption is also personal to me
