Hello Jan. I would still be sleeping but had set the alarm so i could be sure to tune in.

Jan Turkenburg:

:-) Hello WR!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:09am
Jan Turkenburg:

That's one of the things I brag about in my pub: people in the US set their alarm clocks to hear my show!
  Swag For Life Member 8:49am
WR:

Now that you have listened to many of the female vocal groups, does any of them stand out to you?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:52am
Jan Turkenburg:

That's hard to say for me. The Boswell Sisters have always stood out for me, but hearing the others I think they can certainly compete with the Boswells.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:52am
Jan Turkenburg:

What about you?
  Swag For Life Member 8:55am
WR:

The Boswells seem to have been somewhat unique.
  Swag For Life Member 8:56am
WR:

The Andrews had a long career and I sorta got burned out on them.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:00am
Jan Turkenburg:

I can relate to that. On top of that we had the Dutch "Star Sisters" in the eighties here, who imitated the Andrews...
  Swag For Life Member 9:01am
WR:

The next most known to me are the Brox Sisters. So many others I barely know.
  Swag For Life Member 9:04am
WR:

Yes, interesting to hear Dutch and other European sister singers.
  Swag For Life Member 9:05am
WR:

Thank you!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:05am
Jan Turkenburg:

you're welcome! thanks for waking up for this!
  Swag For Life Member 9:07am
WR:

Impressive how quickly you plugged in a hard drive and found the bonus song!
