Gerry from Miami:

HELLO to Paul!! Back in spring 1966 while I was away at college in Philadelphia, my sister(almost 15 at the time) was hanging out on Fort Lauderdale(FL) Beach with her friends when a convertible full of long-haired Brits pulled up and offered the girls tickets to a show and an album. Turns out it was the Yardbirds on tour with their "Havin' a Rave-up With the Yardbirds" LP. My mom wouldn't let her go to the concert, unforunately. But we played the heck out of the record all that summer. I became an instant fan.

Hey, Doug, Jason, everyone!

Doug, we did. It was weird -- we *sailed* out of town. 95 north was almost empty -- but the GWB was backed up almost to CT going the other way. Totally bizarre. No other road out of the Bronx was open.

We are up here in Maine and were just starting to settle into full relaxation when the Check Engine light came on. No rest for the wicked, I guess.
