	1:41pm Irene Trudel: Me too, sphere, but he was a part of Herbie Mann's band at the time. So many performances from ensembles I grew to love from our local Am Radio station, 77 WABC, as well as artists I didn't know as well. There were a few flaws but overall the film was amazingly good. Now I want the box set DVD with the complete performances.

	1:56pm Jeff Moore: As far as I can sniff out, there doesn't seem to be a soundtrack album associated with Summer of Soul. Disappointing, but not completely implausible given that there might be an associated clearance nightmare. Maybe one might still come out later!

They had a motorbike miked up during the set and afterwards they rode it in circles round the perimeter of the venue. I think someone else drove over a massive LSD-infused jelly in a van, too. Ah, those were different times as Lou Reed once said....

So many performances from ensembles I grew to love from our local Am Radio station, 77 WABC, as well as artists I didn't know as well. There were a few flaws but overall the film was amazingly good. Now I want the box set DVD with the complete performances.
