If you like grandma pizza (and, seriously, who doesn't), Casanova on McGuinness at Green is the gold standard. Excellent baked ziti, too. And either Vamos al Tequila (Franklin at Kent) or Acapulco (Manhattan at Clay) will make you very happy if you want Mexican.

I might run out of lit for obscure but important judicial races (while flyering for Reynoso) actually, so Brooklynites, please vote Rosemarie Montalbano for Surrogate’s Court Judge (to keep the old political machine out of there and stop it from turning back into a den of corruption) and Roper-Simpson for Civil Court. Share on social too if you can. Nobody pays attention to judges’ races.

@WM I do a cold brew overnight in my French press. Before going to bed, I just load it up and let it sit with the top on (not pressed obvs) on my countertop. In the AM, press, find a cup, add ice to cup, enjoy! Also very good 50/50 cold brew with black or green tea.
