I agree, industrialized meat production is horrible, but i a healthy food infrastructure includes animals at many different levels. There is no one-size-fits-all prescription for healing the ecosystem.

	6:43pm JBoogie: *to be clear, though I have been vegan for many years, I have also wavered back into veg. I have absolutely no judgment on what other people eat. At most, like anything, I just hope people are willing to educate themselves about what they are participating in with their diets. In the age of cancel culture and identity politics this has somehow been conflated into an assumed arrogance that vegans are all keeping tabs on what people eat. I first went vegan in 1994.... maybe my perspective is different.

So many years on, I’m still refining and learning. It’s amazing though. I’m now at the age where I see a lot of my friends having all kinds of serious health issues and I’m healthier than I was in my 20s.

I agree, industrialized meat production is horrible, but i a healthy food infrastructure includes animals at many different levels. At most, like anything, I just hope people are willing to educate themselves about what they are participating in with their diets. In the age of cancel culture and identity politics this has somehow been conflated into an assumed arrogance that vegans are all keeping tabs on what people eat. I first went vegan in 1994.... maybe my perspective is different.

So many years on, I’m still refining and learning. It’s amazing though. I’m now at the age where I see a lot of my friends having all kinds of serious health issues and I’m healthier than I was in my 20s.
