Either I go crazy for a few hours trying to find an appt with no success, which exhausts me to the point of a daily nervous breakdown. Or I try to ignore it, wait, and slowly lose my mind that way. I work at a local university, I couldn't get an appt through them. Slots sold out in 8 minutes. Too much demand, not enough supply. I ended up going through the state health dept.

("What the heck is this?", I asked myself, seeing Galangal for the first time)

	11:36am Threemoons: @YetiBob I grew up in a cooking household, and was very blessed to have access to pretty much any ingredient. Now, with lockdown, it's a pain in the ass for me to get out to Flushing or Elmhurst for my Asian ingredients, although supermarkets in Astoria are starting to get on the stick. I recently saw whole galangal at one of my local hipster health food stores, and my local Trade Fair has had fresh turmeric forever now.

I recently saw whole galangal at one of my local hipster health food stores, and my local Trade Fair has had fresh turmeric forever now.
