This is where all of culture and all of time are collapsed into one seductive portal and viewed through the panoramic lens of the exotic. Come and embark on an armchair-travel virtual-voyage to the heart of timeless darkness and beyond; embrace the numinous monolith of the exotic immensity. Let us find that place where hybridization meets its destiny as pure fantasy. Let us become observers observing those others who are ourselves. You wear your mask and I'll wear mine.

i was wondering. "An abyssal plain is an underwater plain on the deep ocean floor, usually found at depths between 3,000 metres (9,800 ft) and 6,000 metres (20,000 ft). Lying generally between the foot of a continental rise and a mid-ocean ridge, abyssal plains cover more than 50% of the Earth's surface." - from Wikipedia

Bedroom Flash! But believe it or not it was carpet made for bathrooms. The guy thought I was mad. But it's over 40 years down & going strong. I bought the house I grew up in, so asked for the carpet as a kid, but still love it.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:51pm

I looked up one of the houses I lived in as a kid on Zillow and it looked like it had the same carpet! The 1950s kitchen cabinetry and bathrooms were still the same. It was kind of nice to see, even though it was from a not happy time in life.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 7:51pm

Yeah, Scott67, I remember mildew smelling squishy carpets in bathrooms.

@chresti I mostly use it for checking to see if audio files are transcodes or not. Transcodes are when someone takes a poor quality audio file and converts it to a higher bitrate (the problem being you can't add fidelity that wasn't there in the first place).
