These records were sold from newstands at .15 and .25 a pop hit. They
mostly did NOT have the picture of the artist on the back. In addition to
the 10 inch size, a number were produced in the tiny the form of 4 inch
Durium "juniors" which contained pop music and also advertisments. This sound example features Rudy Vallee singing "Faded Summer Love" Paper backing with vinyl/shellac record embossed on the front. 78 rpm, 1931. |
