I tried jaw harp in the past. I kept on banging my teeth, gave up.

Warm up to the jaw harp :) it’s really fun just go slow at first try a bunch of stuff out however feels good to you. There’s a buffy st Marie song with the jaw harp that kicks ass - cripple creek?

Morning seedfriend. That is actually a mouth bow. A bent stick with one metal string. On Cripple Creek. (Which is one of my non-sadsack numbers.)

I hear mouth bow is similar, Jimmy Driftwood was a mouth bowist.

Why did I make it complicated. The NYPL has Plato in Chinese, so I imagine they'd have more works as well. Doesn't maybe help you in FL, but they got it:

Tumult (label of Andee from aquarius records, a minor forest, my heart an inverted flame, etc) rereleased a bunch of the souled american stuff in the late 90s—rest of the label was all weird & black metal, so it was clear souled american had to be great (he might’ve made the claim he started the label so he could get those records back out?)

Hi Cricket and all, once again, you're doing a wonderful show. I missed the first part because I had to learn a rap song on banjo to play tonight, but what I've heard since joining is sublime. I could think of a fair number of Finnish artists that I suspect you'd like a lot too.

yes—it was a great shop. I think they were on Haight a long time ago. First time I went in 93/94 they were in Noe Valley, then on Valencia around 22nd for a long time until they sold. Got most of my music mail order from them in the 2000s when I lived in NH. they had a great new releases email list.
